**SPECIAL NOTICE**  ----  Due to the cold and wet weather forecast for the originally scheduled date (Wed 4/15), the Member Driving Day has been moved-up to Tuesday, 4/14.  

 

COVID-19 NOTES:

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the following special policies and procedures will apply until further notice:

• MOST IMPORTANT!! If you are feeling any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, or even just a cold, please stay home. From the CDC web site, the following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath

• There will be a limit of 10 participants per event, so register early if you are planning to attend... (and please register ONLY if you are fairly sure that you will be attending).

•  There will be no food service at the track. Participants need to bring their own lunch and beverages.

• Participants should bring their own pen or pencil for signing waivers, checks, credit card receipts, etc.

• The building will be closed, other than access to the check-in desk and the restrooms at the front entrance.

There are additional guidelines, policies, and procedures tied-in with the COVID-19 issue.  Please pick-up and review the handout regarding those when you check-in at the track, OR, if you would like a copy of them in advance, please e-mail me at Jim.Lorimer@DominionRaceway.com.

Join us for our Member Driving Day at Dominion Raceway!

The Drivers Club at Dominion Raceway is a social club for motoring enthusiasts who want to go fast on track without the hectic schedule of a typical track day. Members have exclusive access to 40+ member-only track days a year on an exciting and challenging 2-mile road course.

Located in Thornburg, VA, we are within an hour’s drive of both Washington, DC and Richmond, VA. No longer do you have to spend half the day driving to and from the track. In fact, members can easily enjoy a half day on the track and still make it home for dinner.

The Drivers Club also offers members the opportunity to connect with people who have an appreciation of high-performance vehicles and high-performance driving. With both driving events and social activities, The Drivers Club at Dominion Raceway is the place where you can do it all!

WEATHER POLICY: 

COLD WEATHER:  If by noon the day before the Member Driving Day, the forecast calls for less than 3-hours above 45 degrees (not including the lunch break hour), the Member Driving Day will be canceled.  The majority of members have stated that they are not interested in driving on the track in temperatures below these.

WET WEATHER:  If by noon the day before the Member Driving Day, the forecast calls for an "all-day" rain, OR severe storms in both the morning and afternoon, the Member Driving Day will most likely be canceled. Typically, a forecast for 'scattered showers" or "a thunderstorm or shower" will NOT cause a cancellation.
